A COODANUP woman found guilty of manslaughter in March this year has been sentenced to five years and four months imprisonment.
Danielle Kovac was charged along with Paolo Nunzio Stagno in relation to the shocking death of a drug dealer in Perth almost three years ago.
Initially charged with murder, Ms Kovac and her co-offender were said to have been involved in a drug-related dispute with the victim, Mite Naumovski, when Mr Stagno shot Mr Naumovski several times.
The court heard Ms Kovac helped wrap Mr Naumovski’s body in plastic, chains and bricks before dumping his body in the back of a car.
The body was found in a carpark in Rivervale 11 days later.
Ms Kovac, who has been in custody since 2012, had her sentenced backdated and will be eligible for parole next year.
