A DISTURBING report of an attempted child abduction in Mandurah is being investigated by police.
The report, posted on a Facebook crime watch page on Friday, warns people to be on the lookout for up to three men who tried to snatch a young girl off her bike in a central Mandurah street.
The incident reportedly happened at 3.45pm on Reserve Drive.
The Facebook user, who identified herself as a family friend of the girls involved in the incident, wrote that the girls were riding home from school when a small, white, two-door hatchback being driven by a man mounted the kerb nearby.

The report said the man tried to pull the younger girl into the vehicle through a window.
Police were notified about the incident and have spoken with the girls involved.
A spokesperson said officers were investigating the circumstances.

The driver was reported to have a shaved head and a brown, long-sleeved jumper on while the passenger had blonde hair and was wearing a blue t-shirt.
A backseat passenger was described as having brown hair and a white and green baseball cap and an ear piercing.
